Solar farm and renewable site security
Solar farms are large, remote and often unlit, with copper cable and panels worth stealing. We combine CCTV towers, mobile patrols, K9 units and static officers to fit each site, during construction and after handover.
What solar and renewable sites face
- Theft of copper cable, panels, inverters and tools
- Trespass on large perimeters that are hard to watch
- Sites far from help, often with no lighting or mains power
- Plant and materials left on site during construction
Cover we can put together
- CCTV towers on the perimeter, solar-powered and monitored 24/7, with an officer or dog unit sent when needed
- K9 units for nights on large open sites
- Static officers at the gate during the build, with visitor and vehicle logs
- Mobile patrols at random times after handover, with a report after each visit
- Key holding and alarm response for substations and site cabins

Solar farm security: common questions
Do you secure solar farms during construction?
Yes. During the build we can provide static officers at the gate, K9 units at night and CCTV towers on the perimeter, as the site needs.
Can you cover a solar site with no mains power?
Yes. Our CCTV towers are solar-powered and use mobile data, so they work on remote sites with no mains power.
Do you offer patrols after handover?
Yes. Once the site is running we can provide random mobile patrols with a report after each visit, plus key holding and alarm response.
Which areas do you cover?
Sites across England, Wales and Scotland.
